Information tucked away in PlayStation’s database indicates a new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch is coming sometime soon, likely in the form of a massive update for the River Raid content. AC Valhalla’s only major update of note went live in December, offering players free access to the limited-time event known as Yule Festival.

Coming February 2021, the new River Raid game mode features three replayable maps brimming with Gear, Silver, Runes, and Books of Knowledge. Build the new Jomsviking Hall in your settlement to grow your raiding crew.

According to Twitter account PlayStation Game Size (via Push Square), the title's Update 01.012.000 entered the PlayStation database on February 10. The data suggests that, on PlayStation 5 at least, the patch will weigh a massive 67GB. In a subsequent Twitter post, PlayStation Game Size speculates this beefy update could usher in the arrival of AC Valhalla's River Raid, a new game mode featuring three replayable maps. Previous River Raid-related details from Ubisoft did confirm the content would go live on an unspecified date this month.
